Oceana Mackenzie started climbing at the age of 8. She is Australia's top-ranked female sport climber across all disciplines – lead, speed and bouldering – and was the first female to represent Australia in sport climbing's debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

At twenty-one, Oceana has already broken multiple Australian climbing records, including the best Australian female results at the World Championships, best overall Australian result in bouldering for 2023 and holds the continental record in speed climbing. 

Oceana has had her best season yet making five of the six bouldering World Cup semi-finals, one final and a seventh place as well as two lead semi-finals and a top 10 finish so far.

Oceana is a vegan athlete. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading and learning Japanese.
