Oceana Mackenzie started climbing at the age of 8. She is Australia's top-ranked sport climber across both disciplines – lead and bouldering – and was the first female to represent Australia in sport climbing's debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

At twenty-two, Oceana has already broken multiple Australian climbing records, being a 2x Olympian,  making finals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the best Australian results at the World Championships, best overall Australian result in bouldering and lead for 2023. 

Oceana has had a great season so far in 2024, making every semi-finals in bouldering, 2 in lead, one finals in both lead and bouldering. Oceana also had an exceptional performance at the Olympics in Paris this year, making finals finishing in 7th place. 

Oceana is a vegan athlete. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading and learning Japanese.
